• A particular booking record or photograph: Read the Sheriff's public-records policy and direct a focused request to Support Services. Identify the person, approximate booking date, record sought, and preferred medium.

• A municipal case or court warrant: Use Portsmouth Municipal Court's CaseLook to locate the matching case or court record. A court entry is distinct from jail custody.
• A Common Pleas criminal case: Begin with the Scioto County Clerk's Online Records page or contact the Clerk Legal Division. Online entries can lag behind filing or court action.
• Ohio state-system custody or supervision: Use the official ODRC Offender Search. It does not identify people merely booked into the Scioto County Jail.
